Old Pistachio Turkana Kenyan beads were worn by the people of Northwest Kenya. The Turkana people are one of the major ethnicities of Kenya. It is customary for the women to wear necklaces made of beads such as these. In fact, the Turkana people are known for their elaborate clothing and decorations which are used to indicate different characteristics including age and status.
