5. conquering menopause. the years ahead can be the best years of your life!
The classical Ayurvedic texts do not refer to menopause as a disorder. It’s only our youth obsessed culture that has put the fear of aging in us women. Ayurveda sees this phase as the third stage of life and your finest act. Wisdom, patience, gifts, maturity, and skills are all part of these years; you are now a pillar of the community and of your family. A holistic approach not only eases many of the challenges that may accompany menopause, but also empowers us to live with more joy and fulfillment. By supporting your nutrition, possible hormonal depletion, caring for your heart, supporting your bones and joints, and keeping the mind agile and alert, you can enjoy this journey and the gifts that it brings. 7. Pregnancy and post pregnancy support
The health of the baby is directly affected by the health and well being of the mother. A combination of self-care practices meant to support, ground, and nourish the mother, are all an essential part of this process. The intention is to ease the mother’s load by reducing internal and external stresses so that she and her developing baby can experience more harmonious cyclical changes and also have a gentler recovery and healing time postpartum. Classical Ayurveda suggested 8 days process of rejuvenation after delivery and 40 days of Ayurvedic nutrition for mom and massage therapies for both mom and newborn.
4. The delicate balance of our hormonal input.
Your hormones affect your mood, energy, appetite, metabolism and reproductive health. Hormones are complex but healing them doesn’t have to be. Hormones are chemical messengers, secreted into your blood, and carried to organs and tissues of the body to exert their functions. Know yourself. One size doesn’t fit all. The food that suits one woman is completely different from another same with life style and exercise, through a thorough consultation with me I can set you on a path to find long lasting hormonal balance, I have had very successful outcomes treating Hashimoto’s disease, Goiter, and Hyperthyroidism.
6. Fertility
All over the world, the rate of fertility and population growth rate are in a continuous decline, especially in the developed countries.
Fertility is a major branch of Ayurveda, much like pregnancy care, we pay great attention on the health, mentally, physical and emotional of the mother and father for successful conception. For conception to occur, Ayurveda says that there are four essential components that must work together optimally—timing, the womb, the nutrition, and the seed. We follow a classical protocol of emotional and physical cleansing, physical rejuvenation through proper nutrition and herbs building plasma and blood and finally conception. This is a process that involves both man and woman. Through a series of consulations and follow up plans we will walk hand in hand through this process. I also use Vedic astrology techniques to inform you of the most optimal times for conception.
8. HEALING YOUR ANCESTRAL LINEAGE
Healing the womb and the inner child by diving deep into your ancestral lineage: this is a spiritually-grounded, ritual process that empowers you to connect, repair and nurture relationships with your own wise and loving ancestors. Aspects of ancestral healing include honoring the lands we come from, reflecting on the lived lives of our relatives, cherishing the impact they had in their children’s lives, and also how they contributed to society. All of us in some degree come from a lineage of people who experienced great traumas. However, if over time, we simply say that this is part of being human and that it’s “normal” for these things to happen, this creates a wound inside our psyches, our womb, energetic bodies, and behavior patterns. A combination of mindfulness practices, meditation, yoga, plant medicine and Ayurveda seeks to restore the sacredness of your womb and rid the mind, and the physical and the subtle body of any psychological and psychosomatic trauma.
IF ANY OF THESE KEY EIGHT COMPONENTS ARE MISSING FROM YOUR LIFE OR ARE SUFFERING FROM AN IMBALANCE, A CONSULTATION WITH ME IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS YOUR JOURNEY OF TRANSFORMATION AND SELF REGENERATION
