THE WORLD OF MICRODOSING ASSISTED THERAPY
I have been working with psychedelic medicine in ritual by exploring altered states of consciousness for over two decades. I have guided transformational retreats for over six years in Southern California.
My approach is rooted in Indigenous reciprocity. It is fundamental for you dear one, to learn who you trust your process of healing with. The therapeutic use of psychedelics (from the Greek psyche: mind / deloun: manifesting) requires the proper setting and the right intention and guidance.
Microdosis refers to the practice of taking a very small amount of a psychedelic substance in our case, psilocybin, in order to achieve subtle effects.
Too little and there won’t be any results, but too much and your day may become a bit too colorful. The dose should never impair cognitive function. Evidence from observational and scientific studies suggests that microdosing with psilocybin, the psychoactive ingredient in magic mushrooms, can improve cognitive function and alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety, PTSD, behavioral issues, ancestral and generational trauma; while enhancing your own creative skills and capabilities; showing you the way to a more fulfilling, joyful life.
How we work together
We meet for an initial consultation in which we will go in detail about your current physical, mental, and emotional health, specific issues you want to address, past experience with plant medicine.
After that meeting I will create a protocol specifically designed for your needs. The Stacking Protocol is more intense than regular microdosing protocols and it has a defined structure, therefore it should be done for a maximum of one month followed by a week reset period (no microdosing).
When you follow a stacking protocol, you combine supplements that enhance each other's effects.
In my formula, this applies to Niacin and the functional mushroom Lion's Mane. These two substances combined provide, among other things, an improvement in cognitive functions and more bioavailability (the proportion of the nutrient that is digested, absorbed and metabolized through normal pathways).
Microdosing with Psilocybin: An Indigenous Practice
Microdosing with psilocybin is an Indigenous practice goes beyond the scientific and medicinal framework. As we move forward, it is vital that we acknowledge and honor the indigenous roots of this practice, ensuring that it is preserved and respected for future generations.
We acknowledge that the utilization of this powerful fungi ally is deeply rooted in indigenous practices specially coming from the Mazatec of Huautla de Jiménez in Oaxaca, Mexico. Psilocybin, a naturally occurring compound found in certain species of mushrooms, has been revered for centuries by Indigenous communities for its psychoactive properties and spiritual significance and as a tool for healing, growth, and connection to the natural world. Often referred to as a sacrament or sacred medicine, its intentional use has been an integral part of indigenous traditions for millennia.
At its core, microdosing with psilocybin for Indigenous peoples is a holistic practice that combines physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of healing. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, it promotes a state of balance and harmony within the individual and the community as a whole. Psilocybin is regarded as a tool that unlocks the doors to the mind and the heart, allowing individuals to explore their inner and outer landscapes and gain insights that contribute to personal growth and a deeper connection with their ancestral heritage and the world of the unseen.
Moreover, microdosing with psilocybin provides Indigenous peoples with an opportunity to reclaim their traditional practices and reinforce their cultural identity.
It is crucial to approach microdosing with psilocybin in an Indigenous context with cultural sensitivity, respect, and permission. The knowledge and practices surrounding psilocybin are inherently tied to specific Indigenous cultures and should be approached with utmost reverence and without appropriation.
WORDS FROM our MICRODOSIS PATIENTS:
“Adela is a knowledgeable, warm, loving, supportive presence in your journey of health and inner reflection. Her deep background in traditions and medicine practices from a variety of cultures and systems provides you with a framework to choose the modalities that speak to you.
And if you are not local to her, she keeps in contact from afar and is there to help as you navigate your healing. The resources she provides and recommends allow you to delve deeper into the medicinal systems, to understand on a variety of levels how the traditional ways worked with plant medicine, what view of the world and universe they held and to dive deep into the systems she works with.”

“I believe that taking care of yourself should always come first! When I started attending retreats with Adela, it was on a macro level through ceremony. The benefits of this magic medicine would carry on with me for days and sometimes weeks. I would tell Adela that I don’t ever want this beautiful & loving feeling to go away. She suggested that I start micro-dosing. I am about to finish my first month now, and cannot say enough about the benefits I have experienced after such a short period of time. The measures of connectedness, contemplation, creativity, focus, happiness, productivity, and wellbeing are just a few to mention and that I have experienced thus far. I cannot Thank Adela enough for introducing me to this fascinating medicine which not only promotes self-exploration but also cognitive enhancement. I will definitely keep exploring with psilocybin and will continue my regime to see what else it can heal.”
