ONE ON ONE PSYCHEDELIC ASSISTED THERAPY

Psilocybin-assisted therapy is a transformative practice that combines the therapeutic benefits of psychedelics with intentional guidance. In the context of indigenous cosmovision rooted in sacred traditions and spiritual wisdom. As a facilitator, my approach to one-on-one sessions embraces respect for the mushrooms as sacred medicine.

Understanding Indigenous Cosmovision which ecompasses a rich tapestry of spiritual beliefs, values, and practices rooted in a deep connection with nature and ancestral wisdom. Central to this worldview is the recognition of plants and fungi as integral to spiritual growth, healing, and the expansion of consciousness.

In many indigenous cultures, psilocybin mushrooms hold a sacred place, revered for their ability to open the doors to collective knowledge and ancient wisdom.

Cultivating Respect and Reverence I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive space for my clients. This includes acknowledging the historical and ongoing marginalization and appropriation of indigenous cultures, while working collaboratively towards ethical engagement and cultural reciprocity.

Preparing for the Journey
Preparing for a psilocybin-assisted therapy session involves both practical and ceremonial aspects. To respect the indigenous cosmovision, I guide my clients to approach the experience with humility and intentionality. This may involve setting clear intentions, engaging in personal reflection, and creating an altar or sacred space inspired by indigenous symbolism or traditions. Clients are encouraged to connect to the natural environment, recognizing the interconnectedness between themselves, the mushrooms, and the surrounding world.

Screening and assessment are essential to deter- mining whether psychedelic-assisted therapy is appropriate for you.

This includes but is not limited to a first consultation and assessment where we form a relationship of trust between the me, therapist and you, patient, educating you about the psychedelic experience, expectations, obtaining informed consent, and establishing safety measures.

A strong foundation of trust between the patient and their therapist is a cornerstone of psychedelic-assisted therapy, evidence suggests that the strength of the therapeutic relationship affects treatment outcomes.

The Journey
During the psilocybin journey, I provide gentle guidance, holding space for my clients' experiences while drawing on elements of indigenous wisdom. Respect for the mushrooms means allowing the medicine to guide the journey, trusting its intentions and the innate wisdom it imparts. I encourage clients to cultivate a deep sense of presence, opening their hearts and minds to the possibilities and teachings that may arise.

Psilocybin mushrooms have a profound effect on self compassion, self regulation, on peoples’ relationship with themselves.

Integration and Continued Support
Integration is a vital part of the healing process. Following the session, I offer compassionate support to assist clients in processing and assimilating their experiences. Understanding the indigenous cosmovision, I encourage practices such as journaling, meditation, ceremonial rituals, or connecting with nature to deepen the integration process. Engaging with indigenous communities and cultural teachings is also recommended, promoting respect, reciprocity, and further understanding.
